Every city is an organic system, a breathing, shifting thing that redefines itself
constantly. But no city I’ve ever encountered is as everchanging and dynamic as Bangkok.

Entire streets and neighbourhoods seem to transform in mere hours and can be unrecognizable from day to day. Everything is in motion. Life doesn’t just take place on the streets: the streets themselves have lives all of their own.

There is a constant sense that you are in a maelstrom, changing along with it. Religion, tradition and social constructs are woven through this living fabric in simultaneously elegant and chaotic ways. The temples golden crowns, repeating triangles against concrete backdrops. The monk’s orange robes waving through crowded streets. The timeless attire of elder citizens lit by neon lights and mega malls. There is visual contrast everywhere.
