Philippines was made during a road trip through the country in 2019, recording a succession of places encountered in transit rather than concentrating on a single city. Dense streets, roadside settlements and tropical landscapes reveal contrasts between urbanisation, tradition and everyday life. The changing environments give the series the character of a journey: a fragmented portrait assembled through movement from one place to the next.
